Dear Quilters and Sewers:

Spring is here and I definitely feel like springing into some new projects.   Recently, I tackled my sewing room and what an eye opener that was.  I have UFO’s that are now labeled—but I did not count them.  I tried that once and that is a scary figure.  I sew and quilt better when my sewing machine has its own space and doesn’t have to share with doz-ens of projects, thread, notions, etc.

We are excited to have Kelly Grant here to work with us on a Judy Niemeyer project.  If you don’t feel like sewing, just come to her talk
on  Monday night, April 10 at 5 p.m.   The class on the Compass Rose will be the next day.  If you are fan of the former Buggy Barn look, now known as One Sister Designs, Janet Nesbitt will be giving a talk at the Quail Country Quilters Guild meeting on April 13 at 9:30 at the VFW off Aspen Street.  If you are an AQG member then the talk is free, otherwise, it is $10.  It will be well worth your time.

Mary Beth
