Twister with Jody Gagnon

No, this is not the game, but it is lots of fun. A new wonderful tool by Country-Schoolhouse designs! You sew up your fabric; either charm squares or layer cake depending on the size you want. Then bring it to class and Jody will demonstrate and guide you, using the newest, coolest, & twist-ingest ruler. Perfect pinwheel blocks are now easier then ever before! Do not miss out on this amazing new tool.

Software Project with Georgia Mate

We will be learning more things to do in our Artista Software and creating interesting designs. All Artista Software people welcome. The new technique will be announced the month prior so please -- come and join us. You will need only your computer NO MACHINES. You will want to bring pencil and paper for taking notes, DONGLES, computers, power cords, glasses if necessary. The only requirement is you need to have completed your mastery on the software and if you have a question, please contact Georgia before class day.

Creative Sew with Georgia Mate

We will be exploring new techniques and how to apply them to our sewing. Each month there will be a new project so come and learn and enjoy the company of other sewers.

Embroidery Fun with Georgia Mate

This is for either a combo machine (both sewing and embroidery) or the stand alone embroidery machine. Come join fellow embroiderers. Watch the store for the upcoming sam-ples and join us for some great fun.

Cowboy Justice Quilt with Mitzi Paul

Do you have a stash of old jeans, just waiting to be put to good use? This class will be the answer! We will use the pattern for the block, Courthouse Steps, (a variation of the Log cabin block) to make this quick and simple quilt. Get it? Courthouse? Justice? Join us for a day of fun using your old "blue jeans!" QQ will cut denim strips and have kits for sale.

Cool Blue Bargello with Mary Lou Masters

Stay cool and sew in blues in the QQ air-conditioned class-room. Or choose any color combination. Bargello is a classic modern quilt in any color combination. It looks difficult but with Mary Lou‟s help any quilter can do it. Enjoy sewing this masterpiece with friends for two days. QQ will provide a con-tinental breakfast & lunch Saturday and Sunday. What a wonderful way to spend a weekend.

Garden Club with Georgia Mate

Come and join us as we begin a new embroidered quilt. This one is all appliqué and all of the digitizing is already done for you. You will be picking your own colors and fabrics. There is a design pack you will need to purchase from Quilter's Quarters and several other supplies. In this class you will learn appliqué in the embroidery hoop and piecing methods to finish the quilt.

OCTOBER

Minnesota Hot Dish with Mary Lou Masters

An old fashioned quilt block and a pot luck lunch. Make it with modern fabrics and take this block into the millennium with Mary Lou. A fast fun quilt great for giving on any occasion. Bring your favorite Hotdish recipe for an exchange. Typical ingredients in hot dish are potatoes, ground beef, green beans, and corn, with canned soup added as a binder, flavoring and sauce. Potatoes may be in the form of tater tots, hash browns or potato chips. Mmm sounds good.

Two Fabric Bargello with Susie Weaver

If anyone can create a two color bargello, it is Susie Weaver. Using your favorite ombre fabric color or a striped batik and a second print or batik you will create an easy bargello. Fast and Fun this is a wonderful weekend project that will get done during class.

Susie Weaver UFO Day with Susie Weaver

A great chance to complete a project you started in one of Susie classes. Any class you may have taken from Susie in any state of incompleteness will do. If you have finished a project from Susie‟s classes by all means bring them in for a show and tell with Susie. Susie is always asking about past students and their quilts. This is the time to let her know how well you have done. Bring your favorite food dish to share.
